INSOCOAT insulating bearings:

The outer surface of their inner or outer rings is coated with insulated aluminum oxide layers to obtain excellent quality finish by applying complex plasma spraying techniques.
It's a very cost-effective solution compared to other insulation methods.

Electrical corrosion resistance
By integrating insulation into the bearings, INSOCOAT bearings can improve reliability and increase machine uptime by actually eliminating the problem of electrical erosion.
High resistance
The minimum resistance of the alumina coating is 200MΩ, which can withstand voltage up to 3000 V DC.
Stable electrical performance
Plasma spraying is usually hygroscopic and is therefore easily permeable by condensation. In order to prevent this effect, INSOCOAT bearings are treated with a unique sealant.
